MPAH Final call to illegal online broadcasters

By administrator - Posted on 06 February 2011

Over the past few months, Motion Picture Association of Haiti (MPAH) has received an overwhelming number of calls from numerous Haitian producers throughout the US, Haiti and Canada about an increased number of online pirates and unauthorized online broadcast activity.

By the end of 2010, over 90 Haitian film makers signed an anti-piracy petition to support our fight against piracy. There is a major initiative underway to curtail the sudden onset of piracy activity that we have seen in recent months. Join and sign at http://www.mpahaiti.org/node/30

Your signature is very important to defeat the bootleggers. By signing you and many others will let them know that we are taking a stand against piracy in the Haitian Movie Industry.

We would like to reaffirm our commitment to Haitian movie makers around the world that MPAH is here for you. If you or anyone you know need help, contact us at contact@mpah.org or fill out the form online at http://www.mpahaiti.org/node/19

We are making a final call to illegal online broadcasters and IPTV (Televisions) to cease and desist. Swift and surgical actions will be taken against these various online channels soon.
We will be more than happy to guide and connect you with various producers for licensing rights. In the mean time consider this as a final notice.
